Julie Crenn holds a MSc (with distinction) in Food Safety and Quality Management from the University of Greenwich. She has worked in food manufacturing as a New Product Development Manager for 9 years mainly working in SMEs. Julie has been employed as a Food Safety Specialist by NRI/University of Greenwich since January 2016 where she is the module leader for the Food Product and Process Development and Food Preservation modules and lectures on the MSc Applied Food Safety and Quality Management, MSc Food Safety and Quality Management (e-learning) and MSc Food Innovation. Julie is currently studying for a part-time PhD on biofortified cassava.
Interested in food safety and quality management, post-harvest technology and new product and process development.
