Call for Consultants: Strengthening of Fisheries Laboratories and Technical Institutes.
NRI is currently providing advice to Governments throughout Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific on upgrading their fisheries and food inspection laboratories. We are now seeking applications from French speaking consultants specializing in: the implementation of ISO 17025 in food testing laboratories; microbiological and/or chemical testing of fish and fishery products and water using standard methods; the use of related equipment; laboratory layout; and providing training in these areas. Consultants should have experience of working in the geographical regions mentioned above.
We expect to be fielding experts on short missions – 2 to 4 weeks – over the next 10 months.
