RESEARCH FELLOW –
MOLECULAR GENETICIST (REF: 1098)
A postdoctoral position, jointly sponsored
by Crown Bio Systems and BAE Systems, is available in
the Natural Resources Institute of the University of
Greenwich from 1 September 2004.
Our goal is to develop an inexpensive,
simple and robust diagnostic tool that reduces the need
for animal testing. Molecular genetics techniques will

with the appropriate detection and response systems
that meet the needs of a routine bioassay. The tool
will provide a rapid method for the detection and evaluation
of genotoxic and cytotoxic compounds.
Candidates should possess a doctorate
in molecular genetics and have significant experience
in yeast molecular biology. The successful candidate
will be highly motivated and will join a small, dynamic
multidisciplinary team working to demanding deadlines.
