NRI is only able to offer a small number of bursaries to students applying for admission to its courses, but international students wishing to undertake postgraduate study in Britain can apply to a wide range of other sources. It is not easy to obtain funding because the total number of awards available in any one year is always limited and is invariably exceeded by the number of applications. Securing support can be a difficult and time consuming process.
The information set out here is intended to give candidates a start in identifying possible sources of funding, but it is not an exhaustive list, and there are many others, including charities, foundations and donor agencies.
Some of the agencies listed offer only partial support, and it is important that candidates ensure that they have funding for the whole of their study in the UK before they leave home.
Good luck!
