Study at NRI - MSc Programme Fees

All EU students pay a fixed fee of £3500. For students registering for PGDip courses, this drops to £2500.

For non-EU students attending the MSc Programmes, the full price of the MSc programmes is £11,500. NRI is, however, able to offer a small number of bursaries to students applying for admission to its courses. We do this in the form of a fee reduction, based on whether you, a family member or an employer is paying the tuition fees, and also you home country. You will be asked to provide this information on your application form [Word 232Kb / PDF 139Kb]: we will then advise you of the fee level. Please note that the course fees do not include living costs in the UK, which would normally be around £600 per month. If course fee information is not provided on your application form, your application may not be processed.

In addition, international students wishing to undertake postgraduate study in Britain can apply to a wide range of other sources for funding. It is not easy to obtain funding because the total number of awards available in any one year is always limited and is invariably exceeded by the number of applications. Securing support can be a difficult and time-consuming process.

The information set out is intended to give you a start in identifying possible sources of funding, but it is not an exhaustive list, and there are many others, including charities, foundations and donor agencies. Please note that you are expected to research potential sources of funding and apply to funders directly. The University of Greenwich does not make funding applications on behalf of students.

Some of the agencies listed offer only partial support, and it is important that candidates ensure that they have funding for the whole of their study in the UK before they leave home. You may be asked to demonstrate proof of funding before final acceptance onto a programme of study.

The full cost of a PGDip course is £8,000 for non-EU students. Again, we may be able to offer fee reductions on receipt of the necessary information on the application form.

The fee rate for students undertaking the degree programmes by research varies, partly according to the above model, but also in relation to the supervisory links operating between the University of Greenwich and the student's home country or organization.
