WHiRL Water and Poverty Workshop : experiences from India and South Africa on the role of rural water supply in rural livelihoods and poverty reduction, Delft, Netherlands, 5 August 2002 In order to take advantage of having the WHiRL project team in the Netherlands, and to disseminate and share experiences with Dutch organisations involved in similar work, a one-day workshop was held on Monday, August 5th at IRC. The workshop was an opportunity to: present the work of the WHiRL project; and to discuss the wider issue of rural water supply and its links to livelihoods and poverty reduction.
