CD ROMs
Two CD-ROMs and associated booklets on Rural Non-Farm Employment in Transition Economies – Case Studies and Rural Non-Farm Employment in India and Uganda - Case Studies. Each represents key outputs from a significant volume of empirical work on the rural non-farm economy (RNFE) and livelihood diversification among the poor conducted by the Natural Resources Institute, UK in association with key national partners. The programme of work was funded by the UK Department for International Development and undertaken through a collaborative agreement with the World Bank on rural development. For copies of the CD-ROMs please email E.M.Millar@gre.ac.uk stating which CD Rom you wish to receive and numbers of copies.

The work presented on the CD-ROM’s is based on primary research on the RNFE undertaken in Romania, Georgia and Armenia; two states in India that of Madhya Pradesh and Orissa, and in Uganda. The CD-ROM’s contain regional summary reports, recommendations and other relevant literature reviews.

As only the Synthesis and key reports are available on the CD ROM’s, it is recommended that you refer also to our RNFE publications section http://www.nri.org/rnfe/papers.htm for the full listing of reports and working papers.

For more information on this and our future work, please do get in touch with Felicity Proctor or Junior Davis.
