Over 15 years of research, policy-making consultancy and lecturing experience in economic and financial-market development, microfinance, poverty reduction, business development services, social capital, financial services for enterprise development, warehouse-receipt systems, private capital flows, international trade. Extensive overseas experience includes long-term and short-term assignments in Asia (Bangladesh, India, Thailand), Africa (Tanzania, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Zimbabwe) and Latin America (Bolivia, Colombia, Peru) plus Afghanistan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Romania.
