Food safety & quality specialist with 22 years experience in 23 countries on food safety and quality management in aquaculture and horticulture, implementation of GLOBALGAP & other private standards, design and modification of food safety standards; experience of EU, Japanese and US SPS systems. He is the Chair of the GLOBALGAP committee for microbiological risk assessment, and was (2008-09) external SPS adviser for DFID at the WTO, STDF in Geneva.
