In October 2003, NRI's Quality Management System was assessed by the British
Standards Institute and recommended for registration to the international
ISO 9001 standard (2000), for quality management. The scope of NRI's registration
was defined as the "provision of a service for distinctive, high quality
and relevant research, consultancy, learning and advice in support of sustainable
development, economic growth and poverty reduction," and NRI continues
to benefit from adhering to this exacting quality standard.
